Easy way to speed up your work is to learn keyboard shortcuts. Following are some basic windows shortcut keys which help you to work efficiently.

CTRL+UP ARROW	Move the insertion point to the beginning of the previous paragraph.
CTRL+SHIFT with any of the arrow keys	Highlight a block of text.
ALT+ESC	Cycle through items in the order they were opened.
ALT+TAB	Switch between open items
CTRL+A	Select all.
CTRL+ESC	Display the Start menu
